The holiday discount season is starting to make its first victims at Tesco

Cutting prices for fruit and vegetables means extra security measures for employees working at Tesco, after fights break over discounted products. Bargain hunters don't leave anything behind, just victims who weren't fast enough to face the crazed shoppers.

Extra security staff was needed to manage the cut-off-prices-frenzy from Tesco's vegetable and fruit aisle when a ridiculous fight started between customers. Eyewitnesses described the event as “shocking” with people stealing from each other's carts and knocking down whoever was in their way.

Some of the shoppers were injured and workers were attacked as they were trying to bring more discounted products in the store. The yellow label craziness led to Tesco bringing in extra staff in an attempt “to manage the reductions to make sure all our customers can shop safely,” notes Daily Mail.

As soon as yellow label rumors start, discount hunters take over stores in the attempt of finding the best deals. People are actually fighting each other in supermarkets when the discounts come out in the attempt to save some extra pennies.

“It's absolutely mad. When the person comes out with the reduced items on the trolley, people just attack him. The worker often barely gets the chance to put the items out. Shoppers just push each other out of the way and people get knocked to the ground,” one eyewitness said, according to Daily Mail.

Another customer attempting to shop at Tesco, when discounted products were being brought, found herself shocked and speechless as another shopper came and grabbed an item straight from her basket growling “that's ours” and hurrying to find some other price reductions.

The holiday price cuts will soon face the horror of Black Friday, and the now scarce injuries may even turn into deaths, getting its own Christmas Discounts Deaths Count. It is shocking to see this kind of behavior, but with the constant growth of consumption and stores' attempts to attract more and more customers, it is more than probable that this kind of scenes will be witnessed even more often.
