All thanks to Glu

Lately, we haven't heard that much on this particular subject, and even if the highly popular comics with superheroes have somehow faded into the background, there is no need to worry, as Glu knows that you can never fail with a classic. Thus, the new creation coming from Glu brings a Superman plus Batman fighting and world-saving game.

Should you ever need a game to cheer you up and also to disconnect you from the sometimes tiring holiday spirit that's come a bit too early this year, Superman/Batman may be just what you need. Unlike other such games, several changes have been made, and a bit of originality is always welcome, granted it is only of the best quality. This time, it seems that the combination between classic and different has been perfectly balanced.

The visuals are probably not what you would be expecting, but if you’re a fan of old-school games, or if at least you keep an open mind, you might enjoy the graphics this Glu title has to offer. To further explain this, know that the colors and visual context translate into baroque-like images and, even if some might simply reject this from the start because it's not what they're used to, you should not be too quick to judge it.

Also, the game does not include in any way all those cartoony features, where everything was always hunky-dory and the heroes were constantly happy at the end of the day and all that. Actually, this time, the game deals with the negative aspects of being a hero as well, while also exploiting the darker side of each character, and especially of the heroes. So, they all come with their qualities as expected but, at the same time, their flaws are not masked one bit.

Furthermore, several other characters, such as the Dark Knight and the Man of Steel, are available for you to choose over Superman and Batman. Also, since the game does not try to impress through the classic kind of features seen before, it's safe to assume that this release might not be exactly what you would expect at first, but in the end, it could actually turn out to surpass our expectations in ways we would have never guessed.
