Superman Flies to Game Consoles Faster than a Speeding Bullet

After Spider Man, Captain America or X Men, another comics book hero will come to game consoles. November 20 will mark the release of the new action based game, Superman Returns.

Fans of the comics will be able to enjoy the new game on Nintendo DS, PlayStation 2, Xbox 360 and Game Boy Advanced. The release of the Superman Returns video game will be just 8 days ahead of the DVD release of the Superman Returns movie.


The story of the game will be based mainly on the comics, as over 100 missions have been scripted. All the traditional villains will be present in the upcoming game. Lex Luthor will still be running LexCorp and will still be trying to defeat Superman who Luthor considers to be his arch-nemesis. Superman has to protect the city of Metropolis against him.

A setback in the game might be that a health meter for Superman will not be present. He will still have all his signature moves like chilling breath, super-strength and the ability to fly faster-than-a-speeding-bullet. Instead of a health meter, Superman will have a stamina bar which will deplete every time his super powers are used. Players will be able to refill Superman's stamina bar by approaching the sun.

Superman Returns- the game will feature voices and likenesses from the recent feature film.
