Battle Worlds: Kronos, a turn-based strategy developed by the famous KING Art Games studio, will be launched on Linux, if the developer manages to raise enough money on Kickstarter.

The KING Art Games studio is known for the excellent “The Book of Unwritten Tales” adventure titles, but the turn-strategy genre is a novelty for developers.

Battle Worlds: Kronos is a turn-based strategy in which the players will get to choose between two factions, the technologically advanced Yerla and the Rebels, an army specialized in guerilla firmware.

Battle Worlds: Kronos promises more than 30 hours of gameplay, live multiplayer, asynchronous multiplayer (similar to play-by-mail), a strong AI, and a map editor.

The game is scheduled to launch in December 2013, for Linux, PC, Mac OS, and a few internet browsers.
