It's hard to get much better quality than what you find in the Numix project

Ubuntu OSes have been sporting the same theme for some time now, but a set of superb flat themes called Numix can be obtained from the Ubuntu Software Center.

I need to quote the Joker from the The Dark Knight movie: “If you're good at something, don't do it for free.” This is just the case with the Numix themes. They are not free, but they are worth every penny.

The designers have decided that the quality of their work and the time that they put into building the themes are worth something, so parts of the Numix project can now be purchased from the Ubuntu Software Center.

The Numix team released three beautiful flat themes, Numix Flat Dark, Numix Flat Light, and Numix Flat. All are built for GTK3 and are compatible with large number of Ubuntu OSes, but also with Gnome, Unity, XFCE, and Openbox.

The Numix designers have done some amazing work with the themes and we hope that they will continue to keep them updated.
