Support for SMB2 has been added in this release of SMS

The developers behind the Superb Mini Server (SMS) server operating system proudly announced last evening, October 10th, the immediate availability for download of the Superb Mini Server 1.6.2 release.

Superb Mini Server 1.6.2 comes after three months of development and it brings updated packages and various improvements, as well as security patches.

Among the new updated apps found in Superb Mini Server 1.6.2 we can mention Apache 2.2.21, PHP 5.3.8, Perl 5.14.2, Postfix 2.8.5, ClamAV 0.97.2, MailScanner 4.84.3_1 and Dovecot 2.0.15.

The smbldap-tools package has been added in Superb Mini Server 1.6.2, providing a set of Perl scripts created to manage group and user accounts stored in LDAP directories, to easily configure OpenLDAP and Samba.
