Superb Mini Server 1.5.3 has been released bringing with it a number of updates and changes. SMS 1.5.3 is now on par with the current Slackware, on which it's based, so many of the packages have been updated.

"This minor release upgrade packages to Slackware current and brings the latest stable versions of several server packages such as apache, php, dovecot, MailScanner, squid and more," the release announcement read.

"There is also a dovecot-2.0.2 version available in testing. New packages in this release are libcap, libpcap, aide, mysql-data (split from mysql package), also nginx and roundcubemail available in SMS.Native.CD-1.5.3-Extra.iso. SMS-1.5.3 brings LTPS-4.2," it added.

"Mysql package split preinstall databases to mysql-data, so if your are upgradingbackup you mysql databases specially /var/lib/mysql/mysql and restore it after,or install mysql package with "installpkg" and ignore mysql-data package," it continued.
