Gnome Cupertino, a theme designed for Gnome 3.6.x that tries to capture the feel and look of the Mac OS, has just reached version 2.0 Pre 2.

Gnome Cupertino 2.0 Pre 2 is the first version of this theme running under the Gnome 3.6.x branch. More importantly, it doesn't use the adwaita-engine.

The developer recommends that Faience-Azur or Faenza Cupertino icon themes should be used with Gnome Cupertino.

Highlights of Gnome Cupertino 2.0 Pre:

• The pathbar style Nautilus 3.6 has been changed; • The windows buttons for the Gnome-Cupertino-Unity now have SL style buttons; • It includes two variations, Gnome-Cupertino for gnome-shell or Cinnamon, and Gnome-Cupertino-Unity for Unity; • The theme has been fully integrated with Nautilus 3.6.x, Nemo (Cinnamon 1.6.x) and Nautilus 3.4.x in Ubuntu 12.10;

A complete list of new features can be found on the changelog.
