Papers, Please, a bureaucracy simulator disguised as an adventure game developed and published by the 3909 studio, is now available on Steam for Linux.

In Papers, Please you take the role of a Customs employee who maybe takes his job a little too seriously. You can do pretty much anything if you put your mind to it, and you can be truly evil, like a true bureaucrat.

“Your job as immigration inspector is to control the flow of people entering the Arstotzkan side of Grestin from Kolechia. Among the throngs of immigrants and visitors looking for work are hidden smugglers, spies, and terrorists.”

“Using only the documents provided by travelers and the Ministry of Admission's primitive inspect, search, and fingerprint systems you must decide who can enter Arstotzka and who will be turned away or arrested,” reads the official synopsis.

The system requirements are quire low, and anyone with a computer will be able to play it: 1.5 GHz Core 2 Duo processor, 2 GB of RAM, and 100 MB of space.

Papers, Please also benefits from a 20% discount, which is set to expire on February 16. Check the official Steam website for more details about this game.
