Owners of BlackBerry 10 devices out there can now download and install a new flavor of the SuperTube application, namely version 2.5.0.

The new app iteration has been released with a variety of enhancements packed inside, starting with an audio extraction from local videos feature, and going all the way to performance improvements when it comes to loading video thumbnails.

Moreover, the new application flavor features a much faster loading local videos list, which will then allow users to easily upload videos to YouTube by sharing them, the release notes available via CrackBerry unveil.

The update also comes with added author and title information in the shared video link, as well as playlist total time info. On top of that, it will now prevent the video from starting from the beginning when changing playback resolution.

A series of fixes have also been included in the new release, such as one resolving a subscription error for some channels, and another for an issue with playing some videos that gave "Error getting video info." Other minor fixes have also been packed in the update.

As always, SuperTube remains a great third-party application for all those BlackBerry 10 users looking for a native experience when accessing the service.

You can download SuperTube 2.5.0 for BlackBerry 10 from Softpedia today.
