Super Smash Bros. might be nearing its official launch date on the Wii U, but it seems that the team at Nintendo in charge of its release still has a lot of surprises for long-term fans of the franchise, and at least two new major features, a Custom Stage Builder and a Game Board mode, will be included in the new release.

A leak coming from Amazon shows that the two elements of the title will be officially detailed soon.

The official description states, "Whether you’re creating stages on the GamePad, competing in challenges crafted by Master Hand and Crazy Hand, or outwitting your opponents in a brand new board game mode, there’s no doubt that the ultimate Smash Bros. game has arrived."

It's unclear exactly how a player will be able to create a new stage for Super Smash Bros. and how Nintendo plans to make sure that no inappropriate or bad stages are offered to the rest of the community.

Launch on the Wii U will take place on September 21 in the United States and on December 5 in Europe.

Super Smash Bros. is seen by many gamers as the experience which can boost sales of the Nintendo home console and make it a worthy competitor for the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4.
