Gamers will be able to use a wide array of content

The development team working on the Super Smash Bros. has hosted an extensive Nintendo Direct focused on the game and has revealed some of the items, the Trophies and the Pokemon that are offered in the coming title on the Wii U and the 3DS.

Items that gamers can use, according to the video from Nintendo, include a smart bomb, a sensor-powered bomb, beetle, fire bar, back shield, bomb-chu, fairy bottle, ore club, hocochate bomb, rocket belt, steel diver and X-bomb.

The list of assist Trophies for Super Smash Bros. delivers Nintendog, Waluigi, Dr, Wright, Skull Kid, Mother Brain, Midna, Ashley, Dark Samus, Chain Chomp, Isabelle, Elec Man and Colour TV-Game 15.

There are also Pokemon included in the combat titles, like Meowth, Electrode, Eevee, Staryu, Metagross, Fennekin, Meloetta, Gogoat, Entei, Deoxys, Palkia, Kyurem, Victini, Keldeo and Xerneas.

The 3DS version of Super Smash Bros. is set to launch during the summer, with all fighters locked at 60 frames per second and some Trophies running at 30 FPS, all of them in stereoscopic 3D.

The Wii U experience has been delayed to the winter of 2014 in order to give the development team the time it needs to polish it and make sure that it delivers quality gameplay.
