When the heck are we going to see some screens of Samus Aran from Metroid?

Just after setting up the official website for Super Smash Bros. Brawl on the 24th of May 2007, Nintendo started rolling out some amazing screens and details on the highly anticipated title for the Wii. First features disclosed were the Gooey Ball and Smash Ball! Along with eight screenshots showing two of the game's characters battling it out: Link and Mario. The last disclosed feature is the Cracker Launcher. This week, Nintendo hasn't forgotten about its fans and has released two more screens, this time featuring Zelda.

Just like Link (found within the 8 screenshots mentioned above), Zelda looks much more detailed, complete with what Producer Masahiro Sakurai calls a "subdued color scheme," as 1UP reports. Although Zelda is going to be somewhat weaker and less nimble than some of the other characters found within Super Smash Bros. Brawl are, it is said that her glowing appendages will hold some magical secrets.

Listed below are the all game's characters known so far:

- Fox McCloud: the main protagonist of the Star Fox series - Kirby: the star of the Kirby series, first appearing in Kirby's Dream Land for the Game Boy - Link: the protagonist of The Legend of Zelda series - Mario: Nintendo's official mascot couldn't miss his spot in the game - Meta Knight: a recurring enemy of the Kirby series - Pikachu: the mascot in the Pok?mon series - Pit: the savior of the Kid Icarus series - Samus Aran: the heroine of the Metroid series - Snake: the main guy of Konami's Metal Gear franchise Wario: an antagonist of Mario and the star of the WarioWare Inc. and Wario Land games

As you can see, the game features pretty much all of Nintendo's video game characters. You don't have to be a genius to realize that Nintendo still has a lot of details and screenshots to release. I just can't wait to see Samus Aran. You know she's a girl, right? Maybe Nintendo decides to throw the characters in a warm setting so Samus doesn't have to wear that heavy amour anymore. Not that we'd rather see her with less clothing on, but we wouldn't want her to develop a rash, now would we...?
