A couple of weeks ago, Nintendo started revealing some appealing details regarding the upcoming fighting title Super Smash Bros. Brawl for the Wii. Players will have some nifty weapons to blast their opponents into nonexistence, while visual improvements have also been made with this latest installment in the series. This week,
some details about the game's control scheme have been revealed, together with the fact that you can choose to use whatever controller you like, even GameCube's.

Masahiro Sakurai, director of Super Smash Bros. Brawl saw that the Wii's motion sensitive controller might not appeal to every gamer out there, as more traditional controllers will do their job better in some situations. Thus the man addressed this issue in a blog post on the official Smash Bros. DOJO!! website, as 1UP reports.

"The Nintendo Wii really is a versatile piece of hardware," said Sakurai. "I mean, when it comes to controllers, there are pretty much four different types. I guess I have no choice but [to] implement them all!" In case you haven't noticed, this is very good news right here. Tell me, how many Wii games can be played just as well with different controllers? Developers usually take on the Wiimote and leave the Classic controller's scheme for spare.

"I suppose I would recommend the Nintendo GameCube controller. I like the feel of that powerful rumble," saidMasahiro Sakurai referring to the picture you see in the top left corner of the article (click to enlarge), which was posted on the blog, with Sakurai suggesting that players choose the control scheme that fits them best.

So you have the option to play just by using the Wiimote (holding it horizontally), Wiimote and Nunchuck (held normally), Wii Classic Controller and of course the very popular, GameCube controller. What will it be? Let's just wait for the game to launch.
