Nintendo has officially confirmed that it's bringing out the Super Smash Bros. 3DS demo that's already been confirmed in Japan to other territories, like Europe or North America, starting on September 19. A special gameplay video with footage live streamed in yesterday's 8-hour-long Treehouse event has also been posted.

Super Smash Bros., the iconic fighting game series from Nintendo, is set to transition onto its latest platform in October, and the Japanese company is already raising hype levels doing whatever it can.

Yesterday, a special Nintendo Treehouse live stream was organized, in which different people got to play Super Smash Bros. on the 3DS.

A special gameplay video with a compilation of some of the best moves and sequences has just been made available and can be enjoyed below.

What's more, Nintendo has confirmed via Twitter in both North America and Europe that a free demo for Super Smash Bros. 3DS is launching on September 19.

Until then, select Club Nintendo Platinum members in North America and select regular Club Nintendo users in Europe will be invited to download the demo early via email.

Super Smash Bros. 3DS launches on October 3, while the long-awaited Wii U edition is set to appear at the end of 2014 or beginning of 2015.
