Super Robot Wars W Unlockables and Hints (DS)

Super Robot Wars W, or Super Robot Taisen W, as it is known in its native Japan, is a video game developed and published by Banpresto, as part of its long-running and extremely popular Super Robot Wars franchise, released on March 1, 2007, as the first game in the series made for the Nintendo DS portable system.

Being the first Super Robot Wars for the DS, the game switched up the classic gameplay of the series, in order to make use of the system's two screens, as well as its unique features, featuring a control interface that could use the regular D-pad or the touchscreen and the stylus of the portable device, while the top screen showcased the actual battles between robots that are controlled by players.

Extra money and parts

Insert any Japanese Game Boy Advance Super Robot Taisen game (Super Robot Taisen A, R, D, Original Generation, or Original Generation 2) with a completed saved game file. You will then be able to start a new game with extra money and parts.

HINTS

Easy money and experience
If you fail a stage, you will start again from the beginning, but it will retain any experience and money that you have earned. To take advantage of this, play a stage in the game where there are plenty of enemies or bosses to destroy. Destroy all but one enemy unit (preferably a Boss unit to prevent clearing the stage) and intentionally end the stage in failure (destroying all of your own units with MAP weapons, killing a certain character in that stage, etc.). You will be taken back to the Intermission menu with all the money and experience you have earned.
