Super Robot Wars L Unlockables (DS)

Super Robot Wars L, or Super Robot Taisen L, as the game is known in its native Japan, is a title developed exclusively for the Nintendo DS handheld platform, the second in the series that arrived on the device, after Super Robot Wars W, developed and published by Japanese studio Banpresto, and released on March 20, 2009.

The game is based on the long-running Super Robot Wars franchise, which consists of both classic games, dating back since the Nintendo Entertainment System, as well as anime TV series, and features many of the gameplay elements from its predecessor, W, including the control scheme, using either the D-pad or the stylus and touchscreen, and the various characters, but also brings a fresh story and a "Partner Battle System."

UNLOCKABLES

Mechs
Complete the indicated task to unlock the corresponding character. Note: There is more than one way to unlock some mechs.

Atross
- On Stage 26, destroy Atross with Iczer-3. Atross will join during the intermission after Stage 34.
- Duel Gundam AS and Buster Gundam
- On Stage 6, place units on all six Meteor Breakers before the enemy units destroy them. They will become available during the intermission after Stage 33.

Ken and the Blade Gainer

- Take the Godannar route after Stage 6, then destroy Lou with Goh or Anna on Stage 10A. Ken will join after the Stage 19 route split if you did not take the Godannar route; or after Stage 22A.
- Take the Godannar route after Stage 19 and do not allow Ken and Lou to get destroyed until the Blade Gainer TDM appears on Stage 22A. He will become available after Stage 22A.

Michel

- Take the Macross route after Stage 28. On Stage 29A, have Michel destroy at least eight enemy units; your kill count must be less than 999 for this to happen. Michel will become available after the mission. Note: Klan will pilot the VF-25G Messiah after Stage 29A if you did not unlock Michel.
