Professional overclockers had to use loads of liquid nitrogen

We've seen people put together founts and cylinders on top of their central processors so that they may pour liquid nitrogen or liquid helium in peace.

Professional overclocker James “YoungPro” Trevaskis and TeamAU went a step further though.

They also built a large, “bandaged” bracket around and over the memory slots. You can see what it looks like in the photo above.

That way, they were able to keep heat under control while overclocking the living stuffing out of a 4 GB G.SKILL TridentX DDR3 3000MHz C12 memory module. They set a new record, of 4400MHz CL13.

The system used to achieve that was made of a 4th Generation Intel Core i7 4770K CPU and the ASUS Maximus 6 Impact motherboard.
