Super Monkey Ball Touch & Roll is a video game developed and published by Sega, as part of its Super Monkey Ball franchise, and released exclusively for the Nintendo DS on December 1, 2005, in Japan, February 17, 2006, in Europe, and February 21, that same year, in North America.
The game is the third Super Monkey Ball title, made for handheld platforms, and the first for the DS, meaning it makes full use of the device's touchscreen to control the different monkeys in the game, but also allows players to use the D-pad, if they can't handle wielding the stylus on the touchscreen, and sees the similar Super Monkey Ball mechanics appear, with players needing to guide different monkeys through complicated levels, while collecting bananas and other items.
