Super Meat Boy, an indie 2D platformer that has managed sell millions of copies, has finally arrived on Steam for Linux.

Super Meat Boy was initially launched for the Linux platform with a Humble Bundle, back in 2011, but it took devs a while to get it on Steam for Linux.

The developers from Team Meat have launched the game on Steam for Linux just in time to mark an important occasion, the three-year anniversary since the original release.

“Super Meat Boy brings the old school difficulty of classic NES titles like Mega Man 2, Ghost and Goblins and Super Mario Bros. 2 (The Japanese one) and stream lines them down to the essential no BS straight forward twitch reflex platforming,” reads the synopsis.

The game benefits from an 80% discount that is scheduled to end in a little over a day. More details about this game can found of the Steam website.
