Super Mario 64 DS is a game that appeared exclusively for the Nintendo DS, created by the Nintendo Entertainment Analysis and Development division and published by Nintendo itself for the DS handheld platform, released on November 21, 2004, in North America, December 2, that same year, in Japan, on February 24, 2005, in Australia, and on March 11, 2005, in Europe, as a remake of the original Super Mario 64 that appeared back in the 1990s for the Nintendo 64 home console.
The developer of Super Mario 64 DS didn't try to implement many changes to the gameplay of the original title, in order to satisfy those that wanted to experience the game once more, but did make some improvements to the graphics, in order to attract those that didn't get to play it the first time, by adding extra playable characters, besides Mario, like Yoshi or Wario.
HINTS
Snowman's Land
Two hats
Go to Snowman's Land with Mario. Get your hat blown off by the snowman. Get your hat, then do it again. The snowman will unleash two hats.
Easy coins
As Yoshi, eat a wallet, then turn it into an egg. Go to the three Goombas and you will get lots of coins. Note: You can do this anywhere when there is an enemy with a lot of coins (including blue coins).
Tall, Tall Mountain
Easy lives
Go to the tree behind you at the start of the level. Climb it and you should see an owl come out of it. Talk to it, then go to the top of the level. There should be a gray cliff with coins. Jump into the wall (secret slide). At first there should be a walkway. Go through, but turn to the right and get that extra life. Then, go down and get the other two extra lives down the slide.
