Super Mario 64 DS Hints V (DS)

Super Mario 64 DS is a game created by Nintendo's internal Entertainment Analysis and Development division, and launched by the Japanese company exclusively for its Nintendo DS portable console, as a remastered version of the first Super Mario 64 that appeared for the Nintendo 64 console back in the 1990s, being released on the market on November 21, 2004, in North America, December 2, that same year, in Japan, on February 24, 2005, in Australia, and on March 11, 2005, in Europe.

Seeing as how Super Mario 64 DS is just a remake of the first Nintendo 64 game, the core mechanics of the original haven't been tampered with, as players once again need to explore the 3D version of the Mushroom Kingdom, but certain improvements have been made to areas like graphics or gameplay, thanks to the more powerful DS hardware, while extra playable characters from Nintendo's hugely popular Mario series have been added, including fan favorite Yoshi, and a cooperative mode that takes advantage of the DS' Wi-Fi Connection.

Extra lives
-Go to the maze part with all the toxic gas. Find the brick box with the super-size mushroom in it. Walk through the maze until you see two gophers. Walk back and forth on both of them. Once you have steeped on them seven times you will start getting free lives.
-Go to the part with the poisonous gas maze. Get to the section aboveground that has two gopher holes on it. Near that area should be a breakable box with a Super Mushroom inside. Get the Super Mushroom and run to the two gopher holes. Walk over the holes, killing the alternating gophers back and forth until the mushroom wears off. It is possible to get 40 lives this way. Note: This works best with Wario.
