Kiss Ltd has announced the sequel to their best-selling vertical shooter, Super Killer Hornet: Resurrection, launching on Steam on February 6.

The UK-based indie team Flump Studios has delivered an intense vertical shooter with a twist: throughout the explosions and chaos on-screen, players will have to answer some simple math problems, in order to increase their multipliers and power up their ship.

The crazy action is set to a gorgeous soundtrack, made of tracks performed by British rock hip hop group The Sixty Fours, as well as some original tracks by Dylan Barry, the studio's composer.

The devs are dedicated to sharing the joys of 2D vertical shooters with the world, and offering their own twists on the genre in the process.

Developer Flump Studios has also revealed the plans to release Super Killer Hornet: Resurrection on Xbox Live Indie Games, some time during March.
