Super Happy Fun Fun wants to come with OctoMom the iPhone game, files papers to trademark moniker

About a year or so ago, a report emerged saying Nadya Suleman had just filed the papers to trademark the “OctoMom” moniker, the same one she said she hated to hear people call her. She hit a brick wall though when she learned someone else had been one step ahead of her – a company that aims to come out with OctoMom the game, as TMZ has learned.

After being tabloid fodder for so many months and following intense debate on whether her decision of having so many babies betrays a mental issue or not, Nadya Suleman is becoming a character in a game. The company has come up with an idea that will allow those looking to be OctoMom for a short while to actually do so and go into painful labor – while also testing their aiming skills and inclination towards being an attention-seeker.

“A prospective ‘OctoMom’ trademark holder is one step closer to sealing the deal – and their name ain’t Nadya Suleman. As we previously reported, a company called Super Happy Fun Fun was seeking to use the name in connection with video game content – and now we know what they’re planning on doing with it,” TMZ says after doing some digging online.

“The company – who filed for rights to the Octo-moniker a month before the cackling mother of 14 did – is putting the finishing touches on an iPhone game, which they’ll then submit to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office for final trademark stamp of approval next week. In the game, you’re OctoMom in the delivery room – and the goal is to shoot a baby out of her hooha and into the hands of her waiting mother. And yes, there’s extra credit if you do it when a paparazzo is in the room,” the e-zine further informs.

However, even if the company gets approval for the game, that’s not to say Suleman will be bleeding money because of it or be in a position in which she can’t cash in on “OctoMom” as well, the same media outlet points out. So far, Mrs. Suleman has applied for the trademark in connection with reality television, clothing and diapers, which would mean there’s plenty of room for both her and Super Happy Fun Fun.
