The development team working on the upcoming Sunset Overdrive is delivering a new video linked to the game, in the guise of a television show based on it, which delivers more info on the variety of characters that players will be able to play.

The studio shows that female options are offered for all those interested in them and even simulates a look based on the Assassin's Creed costume from the franchise of rival publisher Ubisoft, which has recently claimed that creating more variety in body types is too difficult.

The Sunset Overdrive footage also shows how traps can be used in the third-person shooter, from placing to their effects.

The new title from Insomniac Games is designed to mix parkour-inspired movement across huge levels with some classic shooter mechanics, all of them spiced up with a wide range of weapons that reflect the unique legacy of the development team.

The developers are saying that they want to offer a world that feels like a gigantic playground and give gamers plenty of options linked to their own character creation and the ways they can use to take out their enemies in multiplayer.

Sunset Overdrive is an Xbox One exclusive title and will be launched on October 28 of this year.
