The development team at Insomniac Games and publisher Microsoft continue their promotional efforts for Sunset Overdrive by launching a new video for the third-person shooter, which reveals a brand new type of enemy that gamers will be able to face in combat.

The Fizzco robots offer a new set of challenges and the two companies state, "How can you kill them? How can they kill you? What is their opinion on 18th century Russian literature? Most of those questions will be answered! Oh, happy day!"

Sunset Overdrive is designed to focus on the multiplayer experience and will deliver both competitive and cooperative modes, both of them with an emphasis on complex and powerful weapons and fast movement for characters.

Insomniac Games says that it was inspired by the idea of creating a version of the apocalypse that is not dark but bright and cheerful, filled with interesting locations and outlandish enemies.

Microsoft has been promoting the title heavily at events and says that it will offer an alternative to the other shooter experiences currently available on its consoles.

Sunset Overdrive will be launched exclusively on the Xbox One and can be played starting October 28 in North America and three days later in Europe.
