Insomniac Games and Microsoft have rolled out a brand new gameplay video for their upcoming Sunset Overdrive experience, showing off the hectic Chaos Squad cooperative multiplayer and revealing all the worthwhile details about the title.

Sunset Overdrive is one of the few Xbox One exclusive games set to debut this fall and both Microsoft and developer Insomniac Games want to hype up its features as much as possible.

After some pretty wacky demonstrations at E3 2014 last month, the two companies have presented a special gameplay video that focuses completely on the Chaos Squad co-op multiplayer.

In the clip, which you can admire below, Insomniac presents everything there is to know about Chaos Squad and what kind of over-the-top cooperative experiences up to eight players can have.

Each Chaos Squad session consists of multiple rounds and, at the beginning of each one, players can choose one of two scenarios. Depending on their choices, the final Night Defense encounter gets easier or harder.

According to the studio, this means that practically each Chaos Squad experience is unique, as it caters to the choices made by the players.

During the actual gameplay, players must defeat waves of enemies in all sorts of locations by not only using their weapons but also an assortment of traps and other things.
