Clint Eastwood’s son Scott Eastwood got his first big break in David Ayer’s “Fury,” starring Brad Pitt, and will be seen next in a Nicholas Sparks adaptation, “The Longest Ride.” He’s also just joined the cast of “Suicide Squad” for Warner Bros., but don’t expect him to reveal which role he’ll be playing.

eTalk caught up with the handsome actor and he confirmed that he was working on the highly anticipated villain movie, and that he’d already shot several scenes on location in Toronto.

“I'm doing a movie up there called Suicide Squad,” he says. “I can't tell you anything. It's all under shhhh.”

“Suicide Squad” brings together some of the biggest villains in the DC Comics universe, released from prison and tasked by the government with a variety of difficult, crime-fighting missions.

The cast includes Jared Leto, Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Jay Courtney, Cara Delevingne and Joel Kinnaman, with rumored cameos by Ben Affleck, Jesse Eisenberg and Viola Davis. You see, “Suicide Squad” will tie in with the budding Justice League franchise, of which we’ve only seen “Man of Steel” so far.

“Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice” will be out in theaters before “Suicide,” so it makes sense to include some familiar faces as well.

Meanwhile, Scott is riding the wave and despite the fact that most people know him as “Clint’s handsome son,” he insists he got to where he is right now on his own. He tells Nylon that he parked cars and did construction work when still auditioning for parts to help him get started in Hollywood, and that he even used his mother’s maiden name to avoid any kind of favoritism.

That last part is true: his first acting credits have him as Scott Reeves. However, as of 2008 and “Gran Torino,” he’s also been getting parts in his father’s movies, so that whole narrative about wanting to make it on his own doesn’t really hold water.
