SugarSync is a free service that allows users to sync their folders and files between their computers and mobile devices. The company behind this service has just announced a new update is available for its Android client.

SugarSync for Android app allows users to share files and folders via social network accounts on Facebook, Twitter, but also via SMS.

Several new features have been added as well, including enhanced sharing, as well as the the possibility to manage files and folders on the move.

The latest version of SugarSync for Android is available as a free download in the Android Market and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 1.5 and up.

In addition, SugarSync offers a free 5GB version of the full service, with larger plans ranging from 30 GB to 1TB and starting at $4.99 per month.
