Ex-Sugababes member Mutya Buena is featured in the latest issue of Heat magazine, where she reveals she got backside implants for a “perkier” look.

NineMSN reports that the singer, known for her addiction to tattoos, sometimes weird fashion sense and how outspoken she is, is not the kind to keep mum on getting under the knife.

Though for most stars plastic surgery is a “ask no questions, give no answer” topic, Mutya says she’s talking about her implants because the intervention made her more confident in herself.

Both sets of them: before she got implants put in her backside, she’d also gone under the knife to get a bigger cup. At the end of the day, she’s happy with the way she looks, she says.

“Ex-Sugababes singer Mutya Buena proudly showed off her new £5,000 derriere to Heat magazine, saying that the procedure is totally common in the US and Brazil,” the aforementioned e-zine writes.

“I just wanted it a bit perkier. It’s not that there was anything wrong with it – it’s just a change. I like to be extreme,” Buena says for Heat, as cited by NineMSN.

Of course, when she told her friends and family she wanted a larger derriere, many tried to talk her out of it, probably because most women would pay good money to have theirs made smaller not larger.

“The 25-year-old admitted that her family thought she was ‘mad’ for getting it done... but it’s not like she’s a plastic surgery newbie,” NineMSN writes.

And, while she’s happy with the result and wouldn’t change a thing about her interventions if she could go back in time, she’d probably not be able to go through the pain of breast augmentation once more.

“I’ve had breast implants too – I’m now an E-cup. My breasts really hurt when I had them done, though. I wouldn’t get them done again. God, no way,” Buena says for the same British publication.
