Substitue Your Built-In Keyboard with On-Screen Typing Solution

Resco offers those that prefer using an on-screen keyboard more than 20 national layouts and superior features compared to built-in QWERTY keyboards. Features such as 'Thumb mode,' 'The Preview and Correction modes' and skinnable layouts assure users are offered a wide range of options. The 'Thumb mode' allows them to type very fast, assuming they have a very responsive touchscreen. This can be done with or without a stylus and is ideal for one-hand use. 'The Preview and Correction modes' ensure the user types letters they really intend to write. Also, the application offers three numeric layouts together with a "Writing Calculator" for typing numbers or numerical expressions.

Resco Keyboard Pro supports an innovative Gesture feature that can be turned on or off. When the Gestures feature is turned on, a space will be added to the text. Moving the stylus to the left is equal to pressing the backspace key, and moving the stylus down will end the line and start a new one. If you press the 'a' key and move the stylus up, the keyboard will write the letter 'A.' This action is equal to pressing the key together with Shift.


Supplementary, there's an FX mode, which allows users to write frequently used phrases by tapping twice with their stylus on the touchscreen. Bear in mind that this mode is only available when using the default skin, so, if you intend to change it, you won't be able to take advantage of this mode. These skins can be installed separately from more than 50 that are now available for download.


Other options of the application include: Autorepeat, Font size, Primary language, Numeric mode. Resco Keyboard Pro also supports custom keyboard layout, which is defined by the text file Custom.map located in the Languages subfolder. Users can edit this file and define their own key assignment.
