This might come as a bit of a surprise to some people – myself included – but as it turns out, Thailand is now home to a company whose employees specialize in making art from scrap metal.

Simply put, the company, dubbed Ban Hun Lek, is in the business of collecting bits and pieces of metal people no longer have any use for and putting them together to create stunning statues, Oddity Central explains.

The materials used to create the statues range from bolts and nuts to spark plugs and other old car parts. The metal fragments are simply welded together into the form of a previously agreed on design, and then coated to prevent damage from rusting.

The statues are all for sale, and the folks behind scrap metal art company Ban Hun Lek say that they make great gifts. Then again, it appears that some people buy them for themselves, either because they are looking to start a collection or because they want to decorate their homes.

Of the art pieces thus far created by this company, one is a life-sized statue of the Hulk. The statue, pictured next to this article, is incredibly detailed. Oddly enough, it is made of rusty nuts and bolts alone.

Check out the photo gallery below to get a better idea of what this amazing Hulk statue looks like and to catch a glimpse of other statues put together by employees of this company in Thailand.
