Earlier this month, a happy couple living in the city of Hangzhou in China finally got around to tying the knot. As is customary, they decided to mark the event by inviting friends and family over for a feast.

The reason this wedding in China is now making headlines is that, at this fest, guests were served a stuffed crocodile head. Just scroll down and have a look at the photo below to get a better idea of what a cooked crocodile head looks like.

According to Mirror, the groom who served crocodile meat at his wedding is named Sun Pai. Apparently, it was one of his friends who could not help but snap a few photos of the reptile head and post them online for the world to see.

What's interesting is that, by the looks of it, eating crocodile meat is not such a novelty in China. On the contrary, there was a time when people living in this country consumed crocodile heads quite often, and very much enjoyed it.

Things changed when the reptiles became endangered. Thus, restaurants were ordered to stop serving crocodile meat in an attempt to save the creatures from going extinct. However, people attending private parties can still eat such animals.
