A high-school student answering questions on the STAAR test by writing “YOLO” in large letters and posting that online has incurred a suspension.

Kyron Birdine tweeted a photo of the test paper on which he mentioned his opinion on the standardized test, which did not go well with officials at Arlington High School.

"I have the TAKS test to study for, not this 'unneeded craziness,'" Bridine wrote.

Huffington Post relayed that the junior was sure to add a smiley face after declaring that “You Only Live Once” (YOLO).

Arlington Independent School District reps mention that what he has written is of no importance. They have released a statement explaining that the student has incurred a four-day suspension over making an image of his STAAR booklet public by sharing it on social media.
