A 12th grade student at Stephen Decatur High School in Worcester County, Maryland, was arrested this week after allegedly sending poop packages to the school’s Vice Principal Mark Flynn.

The teenager, whose name has not been disclosed because he is under-age, supposedly mailed cow and dog feces to Mr. Flynn at least three times. He was arrested on Monday after police were able to trace the poop packages back to him, and is currently facing charges related to disturbing activities at school and molesting a school administrator.

In addition to the criminal charges, he has also been suspended from school for 10 days – the maximum time allowable at Decatur High School.

“We do promote a respectful and positive learning environment. Any inappropriate or disruptive or illegal activity is not acceptable,” Barb Witherow, a spokesperson for the county school district, said, as cited by Medical Daily.

The vice principal notified a school security officer, a cop himself, about the nasty parcels he had received on April 30. That's when police started to investigate the case and contacted the local post office to try and identify the sender.

A post office worker noticed that two other similar packages addressed to Flynn were ready to be dispatched. He was able to determine that the student was the sender because he had personally brought the packages to the post office.

When the youngster was arrested at a McDonald’s restaurant, police reportedly found a “large quantity of alcohol” inside his car, so he also faces an underage possession charge.

Since the Postal Service has no plans to press federal charges, the case has been turned over to juvenile services. The high school student reportedly confessed to the crime during questioning, but it's still unclear why he carried out the disgusting stunt.

Apparently, the mischievous teen is not the first person to use dung for revenge, as a similar case was reported in February, when a St. Louis man mailed bags of cat feces to a local firm because his job application had been rejected. The disgruntled job candidate was arrested and charged with mailing injurious articles. He was later sentenced to two years of probation.

Feces are only allowed to be delivered via mail in the United States if they are clinical stool samples (from pets, animals) for lab testing or other medical purposes. But even in those cases, the packages must be prominently labeled.
