Street Fighter X Tekken, the upcoming crossover fighting game between Capcom's Street Fighter series and Namco's Tekken franchise, has received an official release date, as well as a confirmation that a PC edition is in development.

Capcom is working on quite a few fighting games these days, including the upcoming Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, and the already confirmed Street Fighter X Tekken.

Now, the producer of the latter, Yoshinori Ono, confirmed quite a few new pieces of information about his project, including a release date, details about a PC version and a Special Edition that will be released in the USA, at least.

First up, Street Fighter X Tekken, just like many recent fighting games made by Capcom, will be coming to the PC, not just to the already confirmed PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 platforms, as well as the PlayStation Vita handheld console.

The game will have a Special Edition version, currently announced just for the US market, which includes, besides the game, a lot of goodies, both in-game and real-life ones, so check them out below:

- Street Fighter X Tekken game - Build-It-Yourself Arcade Cabinet Bank (approximately 5"H) - Exclusive Prequel Comic Book by UDON - 36 Gems: Includes All Pre-Order Packs Plus An Exclusive Pack - Pre-Order Bonus: Nine Exclusive Gems Only Available For Pre-Ordering SE - Total of 45 Gems When You Pre-Order The Gems, in case you aren't up to speed with recent details about Street Fighter X Tekken, allow players to customize their fighters with special power-ups and enhance their stats to provide an increased level of diversity during matches.

Last but not least, Capcom's Ono also confirmed the actual release date of Street Fighter X Tekken, which is out on March 6, in North America, and March 9, in Europe, for the aforementioned platforms, although the PC edition might not be ready at that time, seeing as how development has just started, according to Ono.
