Capcom has confirmed that it has no plans to bring its Street Fighter franchise onto the Nintendo Wii U anytime soon, revealing that the upcoming Ultra Street Fighter 4 title is only going to appear for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.

Street Fighter fans have been treated with lots of updates by Capcom, as well as different expansions that greatly enhanced the core Street Fighter IV game.

Now, with Ultra Street Fighter 4, the company is preparing to unleash even more changes and lots of other fighters into the game.

Sadly, the new experience won't make it to the Wii U, as Street Fighter Producer Yoshinori Ono revealed on Twitter that the company has no plans to get a game from the series on the Wii U, including Ultra Street Fighter 4.

No reasoning was given so it seems that Wii U owners are once again left without a core gaming franchise.
