Apple’s official website is now featuring tons of iPhone 4 goodness, including a video delving deeper into the FaceTime video-call feature, and one that looks at the efforts put in by Apple’s engineers to achieve the new product. The Steve Jobs WWDC10 keynote address is also available for viewing through Apple’s site. While the iPhone 4 and FaceTime videos can be played in the browser, watching the keynote requires QuickTime (free download). Three links are provided at the bottom of this article for readers to watch the videos in question.

As promised, Apple’s 2010 edition of the Worldwide Developers Conference focused primarily on the iPhone. During the event, the company’s CEO was extremely pleased to introduce not only the new iPhone 4, but also additional iPhone OS 4 features, which Apple had been experimenting with since the new operating system was originally previewed in April. The Cupertino-based iPhone maker even changed the name of the operating system to iOS, its chief executive officer confirmed yesterday.

“iPhone 4 is the biggest leap since the original iPhone,” Steve Jobs, Apple’s CEO, said. “FaceTime video calling sets a new standard for mobile communication, and our new Retina display is the highest resolution display ever in a phone, with text looking like it does on a fine printed page. We have been dreaming about both of these breakthroughs for decades.”

In usual Apple manner, the keynote address featured a number of updates, such as how the newborn iPad was doing two months after its debut, how popular the iTunes App Store was, how much of the US market share Apple had grabbed with its iPhone, and more.
