This really is a desktop chassis, unlike most others

Despite the fact that “normal” personal computers are commonly called desktops, they are seldom shaped like their namesake. Streacom has decided that something needed to be done about this.

So the company went ahead and made the F12C gaming case, which will allow you to build a strong, gaming PC in the guise of an HTPC (home-theater personal computer).

Standard ATX motherboards can be installed in the enclosure, horizontally, while the top part of the chassis can hold even very long water cooling radiators, as the photos show.

The pictures were taken at Computex by the way, the trade show taking place in Taipei, Taiwan (June 03-07).

Back to the case, there's room for video cards as long as 300 mm / 12 inches and four 3.5-inch storage devices, plus a pair of 2.5-inch ones.

Not sure how the M.2 SSD form factor figures into things, if at all. Presumably, it will be easy to fit in, since it's small and goes right in the mainboard slot, instead of needing a chassis compartment.

The Streacom F12C also possesses detachable radiator rails, allowing you to install more than one 240 x 120 mm radiator. Air cooling can be used just as well, though, and there are a bunch of 120mm vents on each side (one for the PSU on the right).
