Strawberry poison-dart frogs are quite an amazing species, primarily due to their behavior when it comes to breeding and taking care of the resulting youngsters.

Thus, whereas the females are in charge of laying the eggs and providing the tadpoles with the nutrients they need once they step out to greet the world, males take care of the nest and find suitable nurseries for the youngsters.

This beautifully colored amphibian species is native to Central America, and is presently not in danger of going extinct. However, it stands as proof of how complex and amazing the natural world can sometimes be.

The video below shows a strawberry frog dad taking its tadpole on its back and carrying it up to a tiny all-natural bathtub, where it can develop and grow.
