The Melbourne, Australia-based developer Straight Right has announced that it was handling the port of Mass Effect 3 for the upcoming Wii U home console from Nintendo.

The same company is also the developer that worked on the iOS version of Need for Speed: Shift 2 Unleashed.

Mass Effect 3 is set to be a launch title for the Wii U.

Nintendo has not yet said when the new home console will be launched or how much it will cost, but an event on September 13 might bring more information from the company.

We already know the Wii U will be out on all major markets before 2012 is through.

Nintendo has been working hard to attract mainstream experiences to the Wii U and Mass Effect 3 is an action and role-playing game mix that caused a big splash in the world of gaming when it launches during March.

The game ends the saga of Commander Shepard and his fight against the Reapers.
