A 8-week-old seal is now trying to get back on its flippers after it recently went on a joyride it neither asked for, nor wanted.

Long story short, the seal pup was carried out of its home in the sea by a storm swell, and eventually ended up into a woman's back garden in Portreath, near Penzance, England.

According to Mirror, the baby seal, which is a male, was transported some 30 feet (roughly 9.2 meters) away from the sea, and was quite confused at the time when Val Wise came across it in her garden.

Luckily for the seal pup, Val Wise decided to help it and alerted folks at the British Divers Marine Life Rescue. Not long after, somebody came, caught the animal and took it to the Cornish Seal Sanctuary.

The pup is now well looked after, and its caretakers say that it has high chances to make a full recovery. All things considered, the 8-week-old seal will probably be released back into the wild once it starts feeling better.
