They’re testing sites and labeling them as malicious if that is the case, and as an InfoWorld report has it, they’ve nailed more than 600.00 nefarious applications until now.

It’s often hard to contact big security firms and they don’t always pay attention to what you have to say, to what have you discovered, but the people at StopBadware even have a link that says "Tell us your story". What more could you possibly ask for? Not only do they explain what malware can do to your machine and to your life, but they also give you the chance to submit technical reports or to get involved as well. They are doing something good for the Internet community and they’re not acting like snobs about it �" they’re accepting any help thy can get. This is only natural, since the Web is such a huge place.

It is clear that they’re doing a good job, otherwise these people wouldn’t have bothered to give them money to continue what they are doing.
