America’s favorite geek, Steve Wozniak, has high expectations from the company he co-founded with Steve Jobs in 1976, in terms of television offerings this year.

In an interview with USA Today earlier this week, the Woz said "I do expect Apple to make an attempt [at launching its own TVs and television service] I expect the living room to remain a centre for family entertainment, and that touches on all areas of consumer products that Apple is already making."

According to the latest rumors surrounding a potential iTV unveiling this year, Apple is working on a full-fledged TV set with screen sizes between 37- and 50-inches. One of the prototypes is reportedly sitting in Jonathan Ive’s ‘bunker’.

Jony Ive, SVP of Industrial Design, is one of the most important pieces that make up Apple.
