When Steve-O, one of the main stars of 'Jackass' number one and number two, peed on the red carpet at the premiere of the sequel of the movie, people said that his childhood was more than miserable if he is that craving for attention.
While we can't positively say that either of the 'Jackass' movies are bad (they can definitely be interesting, even as an example of how far people would go when they're on an adrenalin rush or as a close, very, very close insight into what many of today consider as entertainment), surely a line must be drawn between what happens in front of a camera and what goes for real life.
Well, Steve-O knows of no such a distinction, as his definition of being in some place or another is clearly synonym with making an ass of himself (and there's no 'jack' in here!). As we were saying, at the premiere of 'Jackass: Number Two', the stunt man with acting skills thought the best way to show his enthusiasm for the brand new flick was that of doing a 'number one' on the carpet, for everybody to see.

Something similar happened at the tenth anniversary of Tao in Las Vegas where Steve couldn't possibly content himself with just holding the woman's snake, like the other celebrities did (Paris Hilton and Janet Jackson): he had to hold her breasts, too.
Let me figure this out: when he does things like that, is he in the tiniest way aware that his gestures are inappropriate and possibly offensive to others around him, or does it all come naturally to him? We're not saying that putting on a show is not something common, most stars love to be outrageous to get more publicity but, for Steve-O, it has to be really something that literally stands out. Like his penis when he pees or a woman's breasts...
