Steve Jobs fans have the opportunity to literally show their appreciation for America’s most iconic ex-CEO by getting a temporary tattoo of the man’s face.

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. Here's to the man who defined your generation,” says Darby Thomas, an interaction designer based in San Francisco, California.

[admark=1]Thomas is a sworn Steve Jobs fan. You can find him at ddddarby.com.

“It's your chance to wear Steve on your sleeve with steaze.”

For five bucks, fans can get a 2.5 x 3 inch black temporary tattoo which they can stamp anywhere they please.

Buyers are encouraged to show it off on their blog (if they have one), or they can submit their “sweet ink” to http://thestevejobstattoo.tumblr.com/.

For those who haven’t been reading the news lately, Apple’s Board of Directors announced on August 24 that Steve Jobs had resigned as Chief Executive Officer, naming Tim Cook (previously Apple’s Chief Operating Officer) as the company’s new CEO.

Jobs is now Chairman of the Board and, according to Art Levinson, Chairman of Genentech, “will continue to serve Apple with his unique insights, creativity and inspiration.”

Speaking on behalf of the Apple Board, Levinson said last month, “Steve’s extraordinary vision and leadership saved Apple and guided it to its position as the world’s most innovative and valuable technology company.”

“Steve has made countless contributions to Apple’s success, and he has attracted and inspired Apple’s immensely creative employees and world class executive team.”

Upon submitting his resignation, Jobs strongly recommended that the Board implement its succession plan and name Tim Cook as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer.

Cook has 13 years of experience within Apple and he has shown outstanding performance every time he had to fill in for Steve Jobs.
