After he got mad on music companies for planning to increase the price for an iTunes song, Steve Jobs has started to lambaste Dell and Microsoft.
In the CEO's opinion, Dell is trying to copy the hardware innovations from the Cupertino company, while Microsoft is doing the same with the operating system.
Only a week after iPod nano was launched, Dell announced Dell DJ Ditty, a flash player with the same battery life, whose
dimensions are smaller than iPod nano's.
As for Microsoft, Jobs rejected to idea of launching other Mac applications for Windows. In fact, Steve Jobs stated that the Windows iTunes is a huge advantage for the Redmond giant.
In Jobs' opinion, Microsoft should start making hardware if it wants to remain competitive. The Microsoft's pattern for separating technologies in categories such as the operating systems, applications and hardware is not to Jobs' liking.
The only company which was praised by Jobs was Sony, iPod's strongest competitor, Apple's CEO admitting that it is indeed a powerful company.
