Artist Michael Murphy recreated Steve Jobs' facial expression using green materials

Outstanding artworks have always been inspired by legendary figures.

Steve Jobs' life and achievements, both as an inventor and a business magnate, are the source of inspiration for Michael Murphy's latest masterpiece.

The very creative artist and professor from Georgia College managed to express his admiration for Jobs throughout a very expressive 3D sculpture, manufactured from eco-friendly, recycled materials.

The sculpture is made out of several layers of green components, such as wiring and bulletproof glass.

The artist used several layers with different patterns and colors. As they come together, the different layers manage to recreate a sculpture that reflects a striking resemblance to Steve Jobs' facial expression.

The artist managed to highlight Jobs' significant role in society throughout his innovative sculpture which was highly appreciated both by the media and art critics.

Michael Murphy's decision to capture Steve Jobs' personality in his artwork isn't the only initiative of this kind, since fans of all across the globe have chosen several other unconventional ways of paying  respects to the co-founder, chairman, and chief executive officer of Apple Inc.
