Improved video quality, better performance

The Knocking Live Video app is the first iPhone app capable of streaming live video over 3G and WiFi connections. It was personally approved by Apple’s CEO earlier this month, thanks to its innovative features. The app’s developers have just announced a major update, one that adds improvements in video quality, performance, UI, and other areas.

“Knocking just got better and easier,” Pointy Heads Software says, adding that it is “proud to announce an update for the Knocking Live Video iPhone App.” The company continues, “This update includes many new features and improved performance. Can't stop knocking long enough to install...we understand, but don't miss out.”

New Features include an improved video quality, better performance, enhanced user interface, privacy settings, the ability to invite your friends to download the app, an improved search feature to find friends more easily, an improved method for signing up to use the service, device recognition, and more.

Making sure there are no issues with the update, installing the app for newcomers, and regular use, the company has also posted a few tips for those who find its Knocking Live Video app interesting. One of those is that version 1.0 will no longer work without the update. This means that existing users need to download the new version from the App Store, in order to continue using the app.

They will not need to create a new account. Only new users need to create a new account. For those who encounter performance issues (Knocking Live Video streaming performance will vary based on the 3G carrier's network), Pointy Head advises reporting 3G coverage issues to AT&T using its Mark the Spot app. This service, however, is only available for North American customers.
