14 DAY TRIAL // Steve Harvey never expected to receive this surprise on his 56th birthday. Check out the video above to see what made the comedian turn on the waterworks – big time – on a recent episode of his show.
Useless to say, the episode was a birthday special and, despite repeated warnings from Harvey, his staff got him in touch again with the two people he pretty much owes his entire career to.
They spoke via satellite and, clearly, Harvey was so overcome with emotion that he was sobbing and crying for the better half of the interview.
The moment was touching indeed (proof of that being the cuts to women in the audience crying their eyes out), but I’m not really sure how unscripted it was.
For one, Steve couldn’t “find” his two dear friends he “couldn’t” forget, but his staff did just like that. Secondly, he loved them so much but was never successful in keeping in touch with them throughout the years.
